Nitin Pasricha is a travel and architecture photographer from a family with a long lineage of well-known photographers, who have mastered the art in their respective professional genres, spanning from classical Indian dance to portraiture, industrial, and panoramas. With no interest in photography until 2010, a trip to Kheer Ganga in Parvati valley, Himachal Pradesh changed everything (life choices, career, and interests). With no interest in photography until 2010, a trip to Kheer Ganga in Parvati valley, Himachal Pradesh changed everything (life choices, career, and interests). Kheer Ganga is where he fell in love with the mountains, photography and traveling, post which there has been no looking back.

With each travel plan, respect for and worry towards the environment kept increasing, that urged him to quit a well settled job as a graphic/web/UI/UX designer/consultant with over 10 years of experience. He additionally runs Pixaphic Collective, a design studio based in Delhi/NCR. Post his stint as a full-time designer, he graduated from the University of Leeds, UK with a master’s degree in Climate Change. After returning to India, Nitin worked with NGOs that worked towards climate change mitigation and sustainable development of marginalised communities in remote high-altitude Himalayan villages. He was further posted in Nepal right after the terrible Earthquake that hit in 2015 to initiate immediate relief and long-term rehabilitation efforts for remote high-altitude communities.

There is nothing as majestic and humbling as the Himalayas, and being his first love, he is now working towards establishing a social enterprise that seeks to work towards building sustainable livelihoods, climate change adaptation, passive heating systems, provide sustainable energy to remote high-altitude villages, and ‘true’ eco-tourism. Living a life that is not full of challenges is monotonous. Nitin enjoys his time hiking and discovering new places, possibly, far away from societal reach. He is currently shuttling between Himachal, Uttarakhand and Gurgaon, and is available for Architecture, Wedding and Travel assignments. There is pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is a rapture on the lonely shore,
There is society, where none intrudes,
By the deep sea, and music in its roar:
I love not man the less, but Nature more.

– Lord Byron
